Thanks for Visiting!
At Uptown Church, all are welcome because we believe in the saving power of the gospel: the good news that Jesus came and died for broken people. Our church is a community of people united around the belief that God redeems broken stories, including our own. We look forward to learning your story!
We understand that visiting a new church is a big step for most people, so we have a 3-step process that you can follow to make it easier. Following these steps will help you get to know us and also give us an opportunity to get to know you!
Explore Uptown Church
STEP 1: FILL OUT A CONNECT CARD
Whether you've visited for a few weeks or you're a first-time guest, taking the next step at Uptown starts with filling out a connect card. It only takes 30 seconds. You can access this card through a QR code on our worship guide, or fill out the digital connect card here.
STEP 2: STOP BY THE FOYER
Our building can be confusing! The front steps lead straight into the sanctuary, and the side door entrance opposite Elizabeth Avenue (facing the parking deck) leads to the Nursery, Café, and classrooms. Our Welcome Team will greet you when you first come through the front sanctuary doors and are ready to answer any questions! You’ll also find a table there with information about the service, a worship guide, and resources for kids. If you enter using the side entrance, walk straight past the stairs to the elevator foyer and you’ll see our Nursery Greeter, who will help you figure out where to take your kids and help you get where you need to be.
STEP 3: LEARN MORE ABOUT THE LIFE OF THE CHURCH
Our online church hub is intended to be your single resource for information about the day-to-day life of Uptown Church. You're here now! On the website, you’ll find answers to questions like:
- What time does [fill-in-the-blank] start?
- I’m new to Uptown. How do I get connected?
- How do I sign up for a ministry team or schedule pastoral counseling?
- Where can I listen to a past sermon?
